About Lauren

Depth, presence, and an openhearted partnership.

I’m Lauren, a Hamilton-based Registered Psychotherapist. I support adults of all ages through anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationships, and the quiet challenges of caring for yourself in a full life.

A note from Lauren

Why I do this work.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, having difficulty coping with challenging relationships, or navigating a major life transition? Are you feeling overwhelmed as a new mom, having difficulty finding time to care for yourself? Maybe you aren’t sleeping well, or you’re carrying grief no one else sees.

You want to feel truly understood, find peace, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. You want a safe, non-judgmental space to express yourself, gain insight, and develop coping skills that help you face life’s difficulties with resilience, hope, and in alignment with your values.

How I work

I draw from mindfulness-based, existential humanistic, and compassion-focused therapy and can incorporate elements of ACT and CBT to meet you where you are. If you value depth, presence, and an openhearted partnership in therapy, I’d be honoured to work with you.

Who I work with

I work with adults of all ages, and have found a special connection with middle-aged women and seniors. There’s something powerful about navigating life’s later chapters together, rediscovering purpose and joy, and making room for what matters most.

What we’ll do together

Choosing therapy is taking a step toward change, growth, and healing. If you’re ready to take good care of yourself, I’m here to help you do this. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, foster self-compassion, and work toward your goals, all at your own pace, and with the tools and skills that work best for you.

Outside the office

A practice rooted in the everyday.

When I’m not in sessions, you’ll find me taking photos of flowers at the RGB, leading a local meditation group, or spending time with my family at the beach.

I believe the gentle practices of noticing, allowing, and returning that we cultivate in therapy are the very things that help us feel deeply connected to our everyday lives

That is the kind of presence I hope to share with you. I want our work together to feel steady, curious, and deeply supportive.

“Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, foster self-compassion, and work toward your goals, at your own pace.”
